Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Darling Dallas

One Message.

One messgae is all it took.

One message is all it took to ruin everything.

I thought I could change things.

But I couldn't.

Two years.

Two years of waiting.

Two years of waiting for that one chance to change things.

I hoped.

I dreamed.

I waited.

But nothing ever happened.

One messgae.

One message that took two years to send.

Two years of waiting to convince myself to send that one message that could change things.

But I couldn't.

One Message.

Two years.

All for nothing.

How do you know who is and who isn't?

People who are worth it stick around.
Again I love this. I like how you have repetition in this.

Nice repetition and theme. Sounds like there is a lot of emotion tied into this poem.
