Sometimes I just need to learn that they are worth it anymore.

Sometimes I just need to learn that I shouldn't care anymore.

Sometimes I just need to learn that they don't deserve my time anymore.

Sometimes I just need to learn that they don't deserve me anymore.

 

Sometimes I wish I could learn.

Sometimes I know I can learn.

Sometimes I know I need to learn.

 

But then I think...

 

Of all the times when I thought you were worth it.

Of all the times when I thought you did care.

Of all the times when I thought you did deserved my time.

Of all the times when I thought you did deserve me.

 

And I stop wishing....

And I start knowing....

 

Knowing that you were never worth it.

Knowing that you never did care.

Knowing that you never deserved my time.

Knowing that you never deserved me.

 

 

Knowing that there is someone who is worth it.

Knowing that there is someone who does care.

Knowing that there is someone who does deserve my time.

Knowing that there is someone who does deserve me.

 

 

 

 

Knowing that you were never that someone.
