Animated Appreciation

This was originally an ode I made for my English class but I decided to post it here as well. Hope you like it!

Animation is more than
Moving pictures as it can also
Move your heart and
Challenge your mind

Whether you feel as sweet
Like a chocolate covered fruit
Or sour thoughts swim
Through your mind
There is animation for every mood
And for every thought

Whether it is as short as an ant
Or as long as a giraffe’s neck
Whether you are in a nursery
Or old enough to have grandchildren
There is animation for every length
And for every age

Animation can be black and white
Animation can be colorful
Animation can cry and mope
Animation can dance and sing

Animation can be a teacher
Animation can be a friend
Animation can be anything a creator
Or audience wants

Animation is a lifestyle
Animation is a dream
That’s what animation is
At least to me
