Dear Garth

DEAR GARTH,

Several years ago, I wrote a letter to your club
maybe it was wishful thinking,
but I asked you for a hug.

You finally showed,
but only after I had gone.

Then while I was in school,
in another town,
I heard you came to Pa.

Again, I wanted so bad to frown.

So maybe just this once,
maybe our paths will cross.

But until that day,
I wanna say….

I LOVE YOU GARTH!!!!

Author’s Note: This poem is inspired by Garth Brooks. I wrote him a letter once and he came to my hometown the same year I went to another town for more schooling, and while there, again, I MISSED HIM! So I hope that the 3 times charm will work, maybe….someday? PLEASE????
