Amazing what life can bring you

If you just open your eyes to see

Wondrous gifts of friendship

Love how Life brought you to me

 

It always amazes me most of all

The care you give in what you say

Still learning of life’s twists and turns

Learning together, day by day

 

This is one of those true tests of faith

Still brand new, out of the box

Friendship that is meant to last

Stands the test of time and a life that rocks

 

It is my wish that should you decide to pass

And decide to go on your own way

That you not leave behind a worried mind

Regret or sadness, another day

 

Live your life and do your best

To stay happy to some resolve

To each of us our paths have crossed

Our lives have touched and we evolve

 

If you should decide to stay with me

And be my new true friend

I can promise you this and never forget

I love this, and can completely relate, walking through life with eyes open and without expectation can lead to meeting some amazing people... and when you can connect to one of those on a level that you have never experienced before... it can feel like destiny...
