Winter's Dream

Winter's Dream

A Poem by Dacs775

Winter hands grace the cold night air
The moonlight dancing off of snow
Soft winds caress the trees with care
Painting a picture of a world unknown

A soft white blanket covers the land
The song of silence follows suit
Slowly brushed with a chilling hand
Nothing shall wake or bare its fruit

Silent and gorgeous the earth stands waiting
Frozen in time with neither a whisper or scream
With the last hours of night slowly fading
So ends the wonder of winter's dream
