A Poem by darem aq.

This is my first writing in years, took a bit of courage and motivation.

It is within the teachings of death
An apostate is born, unto this world
Within the visceral storm that follows
The vestige, to implore the latter

Through this monocle we shackle ourselves
To our furthest dreams and all it covers
Is but a vortex of confusion
Built upon structures of frail beams

Beyond the darkness, lies a bereft vessel
Fray, debris, an orchestrated maelstrom
Undone of its bindings, a nether trail lingers
A hefty plummet, a spiral plunge
Unto this unyielding underworld

From this crash we walk
Alone, free of intrusion
To examine this wretched reality
And to entertain whatever it holds
To finally gasp a breath of solitude
