Two hearts

Two hearts

A Poem by Aldora Sparrow
"

Two people wondering. You could read each side and still get a story. Enjoy

"

Here you are, at my side

I am here, so tongue-tied
As you walk by, I feel your touch
The agony of it is just too much
I wonder if he thinks I’m pretty
Does she think I am cool and witty?
I wonder if he can see me
Can she feel my love that no one can see?
I can feel my face rise in heat
I can feel my drumming heartbeat
Does he like me?                               Does she like me?
My mouth and hands are so dry
Why of all times am I shy?
I want to ask him
Could I satisfy any of her whims?
But I can’t, so much could go wrong
I’ve waited for so long
But how should I ask?                   But how should I ask?
Moments have passed
How much longer can I last?
He is watching me
I’m sure she will say yes, wouldn’t she?
I cannot look away
How much longer can I stay?
I think I must, I have no time
I think the first bell is about to chime
Quickly now, I must move
Oh please, I do hope she can approve
On the number three
Now before I must flee
One
Two
Three!
Do you love me?                                  Do you love me?

Author's Note

Aldora Sparrow
I'm sorry about the green text where they both speak. I can't seem to make it that one is on the girl's side and the other on the guy's side since they are on the same line. Sorry again, but I still hope you like it.
