Radiant Paradise

Radiant Paradise

A Poem by Aldora Sparrow
"

A poem from camp. I had to write it in a certain format that you'll probably pick up easily. Enjoy!

"

My room

My cave of fantasies
Where my wildest dreams
Become real before my eyes.

My room
My comforting beach
Bathing me unconditionally
With love, light, and warmth.

My room
My refuge in an imperfect world
No one is here to judge me
Just me, alone.

My room
My messy chaos
Where things seem to be lost
But totally easy to uncover.

My room
My radiant paradise
The light green of my walls
Seem to grow and bloom before my eyes.

My cave of fantasies
My comforting beach
My messy chaos
My radiant paradise
My refuge in an imperfect world
Bathing me unconditionally
With love, light, and warmth.

nicely presented piece of poetic prose outlining your safe haven where things remain safe and sane

Awww how sweet! It's so true, too - we all need a safe haven of some kind. I like how you turned the second lines of each stanza into a stanza of their own at the end - clever! Good job.
