Living Your Life For God, and Not For Man 😇

Sometimes it’s time to say goodbye

Sometimes we have toxic people,
that come into or are part of our life
They try and take away your happiness,
and your joy, while avoiding their own strife

They try to tell you how to live,
and they try and tell you what to do
When their own life is in chaos and shambles,
they simple want yours to be that way too

It doesn’t matter what you’ve thought,
or even what you’ve said or what you’ve done
Because in the end what matters most,
is God’s forgiveness through His son

So go ahead and live your life,
and live it full and be free,
Let them judge all they want,
not caring what others say or think of me

Don’t ever let others tell you,
what to think, what to say, or do
Because it’s none of their business,
its only between God and you

Give all of your problems to God,
and don’t be failed by man
You’ll be very surprised and amazed,
with what He does, like only God can

Whether alone, lost, estranged, sick,
with anxiety, depression, hurt, or in fear
Trust in God with all of your heart,
for in your soul He’s always near

An Ode to the Great Physician, as it were...

The Bible warns that in End Times
We'll be under attack by scoffers.
This probability just climbs
When spiritual words are offered.

Do not be dismayed or discouraged
By what these naysayers might do;
The Word of God can,friend, encourage
The sore, abused spirit in you.

For Jesus is there, and He'll give
His love and protection to you.
He'll never forsake you, if you live
In obedience, faithful and true.

No matter our plight, He will handle
Whatever our problems might be;
No physician on earth holds a candle
To our loving, heavenly M.D.
