Past Midnight

Past Midnight

A Poem by Diary of A Man™

Just 'round midnight,
...when thoughts surface
and pains are mirrored,
Sins are disgraced
...grimaces float a shameful taste
Just after the midnight hour-what's one more hour to waste

Doubts wished away
Tissue's an arms length away
A prayer for a better day
if only in insomnias dream
After all it's way past midnight

Solemn way this comes about to the reader...the declaration of thoughts that present themselves in the lines...and what happens to linger in the moments just past midnight...when sleep is warranted...yet your mind is not ready to rest...
