Driving in the Sunshine

Driving in the Sunshine

A Poem by Dave
"

A short I wont describe. Written in one quick go and perhaps it shows!

"

Taken for a ride on a beautiful day,

Wind in my hair and sun on my face,

See in the mirror a distant place,

Don't want to go back there again.

I see the smile in your eyes,

Lets keep on driving,

Where we go we won't know,

But never back there again.

You're looking good,

You're looking fine,

Just tell me you'll always be mine,

We won't go back to that time.

The sun is fading in the sky,

Your face a silhouette i can't find,

Maybe we'll run out of gas,

Or maybe we'll dissapear into the night.

About
What words can I use to describe me? My words are broken, brain tattered and torn I cant seem to capture my true form. Words they help me ease the passing time and the tribulations of life. But don't .. more..
