The boy who was hurt too much and the girl who saved him from himself

Poem...up to readers to interpret it...title says all you need to know.

Upon his face, there is always a smile
When really he hasn't been happy for a while
No one ever sees him cry
Deep down, he just wants to die.

He's so stuck in the past
Doesn't see what could actually last
Doesn't see that somebody does care
He's too busy crying silent tears.

She wants to wipe away his tears
And take away all of his fears
She wants to be the girl he's afraid to lose
But she won't make him choose.

She thinks that she is not good enough
His past love thinks that she's tough stuff
The love seeking for him now is better
But his first love hurts him and he lets her.

He doesn't realize the girl that is by his side
While he tries to hide
To her, he is a dream
That is tearing at the seams.

She rather share his pain than have him suffer alone
Since he is the most beautiful person she has ever known
She won't let him die
With her, he can survive.
