God's saving grace

The reason that I live

So much I have taken

So little that I give

I seek Him in my heart now

Not like I did before

For now I feel a hunger

For I know there's so much more

Pain would lead me elsewhere

But if it were not for Him

I would lose my reasons

And then the world would win

I always tried to be true

Not sure just why before

Yet as I learn to really love

I get to grow some more

To be the man I've wanted to

Didn't know I could

It's just God's saving grace

That lets me know I should

Become the best that I can be

Just look inside my heart

Turn me inside out

To where I find my start

A little inspiration

In the world that I share

And the words become a gift

Instead of a cross to bear

So what it comes down to

What keeps me in this place

Is the love that I have found

In my Gods saving grace.
