Make me Weak

Make me Weak

A Poem by Donald Cole
"

A poem of Strngth

"

I look into the sunrise
I long to see you there
And then I seek to grow some more

In the love that you share
Without you I'm nothing
there's nothing I would be
Were it not for the gifts you bring
and share my world with me

So I ask you keep me weak
So that I may be strong
For I know that in your love
Is truly where I belong

It really not my world though
As there is nothing here for me
To hold on to this placed called 'mine'
Can never set me free
So I'll follow you forever
In faith that you will bring
To me the words to give to you
To make my heart sing

So I ask you keep me weak
So that I may be strong
For I know that in your love
Is truly where I belong

I walk this world in your arms
For my feet won't carry me
Let me grow through any pain
The world will let me see
Let me live through your love
Let my sorrow be washed away
And by my side may you always be
And my soul be taken by you one day

So I ask you keep me weak
So that I may be strong
For I know that in your love
Is truly where I belong
