The Beauty Within

If we paint our picures inside out, What would the world look like?

I smile upon your world
Each time you reach to me
I look in awe and wonder
How blessed I am to see
The beauty of your body
That doesn't begin to compare
To the beauty I see within you
Through the words we've got to share

I feel the real person
I hope for, yet so seldom get to see
I desire to know your heart some more
For it is so intriguing to me

I'd like to explore the world, somehow
Of some people I would see
I'm learning all I can, you know
To be the best man I can be

I'd give you little pieces
Of me for you to take
I get to feel the joy inside
Of the love my heart does make

For when I leave this world
The only thing left to be
Is the relationships that I've built here
To share for eternity
So forever I'm your friend now
And nothing less I'll be
And all that I have inside
I'd give unconditionally
And all that I can offer you
Is these little pieces of me
And to be a friend like no other could
Til life does set us free
For the beauty within is what I've found
In the time that we did share
found so little in so many
So few could even care

The beauty within that taunts me
that lets my world come to be
That becomes where my hearts desire
and my love does grow with thee.

It's ok if I lose a bit of me
And sometimes, i just don't know to feel
Cause sometimes were the dream come true
I'd find that dream not real
So I go on in my world
And cherish what I hold
And see if I'd find reality
In the words to me you've told

And this becomes the beauty
of the friendship we could share
for in my humble reality
I just want you near.

And when the beauty within eludes me
I'll know by what I see
For true beauty can hide behind no mask
in my reality
