It Must be Something

Something caused this to happen this way

 

I must be something crazy

To think of you this way

How can you walk in my heart

Take hostage, hold it at bay

I must be a little silly

Maybe I'm a fool

To be lost for heart of yours

with your body that makes me drool

I must be a little scared

To let you through my wall

Yet so many try to break

And so rarely does it fall

I must be lost in my world

To let you touch mine this way

Maybe I just lost my place

I'll find it one day

I must have begun to listen

To the silly words you say

For I know in my heart true

There would be no way

For I must just be a dreamer

That you'd even be wanting me

Though this heart of mine thrives on hope

That any dream could come true

I must be something hopeful

That I can share these thoughts with you

And left wanting more and more

To share my world with you

I must be something grateful

That I found you in my world

And we share a dream we'd never realize

For you could be my girl

It must be something beautiful

That draws my heart to you

For only that would bind my heart,

To a dream that could come true.
