A Prayer for TaylorA Poem by Donald ColeA prayer for any child caught in the middle of a divorce and for the parentsLord, theres a little child out there Taylor is her name She might be four, maybe something more Please help her through the game Her daddy, he does love her Though he's not sure what to do Lord, above all, let wisdom fall May he find some strength in You Her mommy, I don't know, Lord She's never made it to the world I know Lord bless her shoes and all she does God give her the wisdom to show Taylor how to live God Cause the world don't give much grace Lord I'd like to see them Where I get to see You face to face Taylor doesn't really know In this game, she's too young to play Lord, all I really need, is You indeed For her parents not to put her in the way They both have so much to learn God Above all, Taylor's needs should be up front Let Taylor become first for them Be what both her parents want She's just a little young God To know this for herself I know for me, what You let me see To put my needs on the shelf Please don't let the game take away Cause she needs a mommy and a daddy too I know this gives the greatest chance For Taylor to find You Please, don't let Taylor miss anything she needs From either parents' hand I know Your will for everyone I've come to understand Give them this understanding Lord Let love be what comes to call To know indeed, first is this child's need Let love preside over all Don C
