I've Only Begun to Love You

I've Only Begun to Love You

A Poem by Donald Cole
"

This is the same message as 'Teach me the Art of Letting Go', from a different perception-- hanging on versus letting go, the same love..... perception is what shapes our reality.....

"

Forever I've been drawn to you

Seems you always wanted more than I could be

Its taken so long for us to see we've grown

Still denying a chance of a you and me

Over the years I've written

Only professing what I know

And I've only begun to love you

In the little time given to grow

(chorus)

I've only begun to love you

Nothing can take that away

Over all these year, becoming so clear

It's taken forever to get the chance to say

I've only begun to love you

If there'd been half the chance

I only only did start, to give my heart

Were you to bring your heart to dance

>

Sometimes it takes a little more

For the message of love to come through

It seems like its been forever ago

That I started loving you

And It's hard to keep holding on

While we keep on letting go

And harder, and harder to grow together

When we don't give the chance to know

>

So many memories we have missed

Afraid, not knowing whats in store

I'll just love you, like I always do

Til I can be your something more......
