let me ask you a question

let me ask you a question

A Poem by delaney
"

questions always need asking

"

'Let me ask you a question,' said the snake

'Are you above horse rabbit dog whale?'

'Let me tell you something,' said the snake

'You cannot not breathe, you cannot not eat, you cannot not drink.'

'Let me ask you something,' said the snake

'What does the stamp of his image give you?'

'I think,' said the man, 'I measure, evaluate, use my senses, speak to my kind

pool my knowing, share my findings, question, question, question.'

'A fact I know,' said the man, 'snakes don't talk.'
