A Non-traditional Traditional Christmas Tale

During that time of year when Mrs. Claus

Cannot measure up to elves

Rudolph’s red nose is an illusion

That makes Santa’s cheeks rosy.

Dasher and Dancer

Win every reindeer game

Because they get a leg up

With help from a song,

While Donner and Blitzen

Have to deal with a few a******s.

Delivering gifts around the world

In a single night with the help

From the magic of flight

Leaves us all to ponder

If Mary Jane is their trainer.

We know he watches us

Then breaks in when the time is right,

Leaving presents so we don’t notice

What he takes when we discover the grand lie.

So I will wrap this up in pretty paper and bow

Leaving you the gift of teaching you

What you already know…

 

So Just have a Merry Christmas

By being the Grinch of Millennialville.

I have the feeling we are no longer talking about Santa and Christmas here Cowboy? The world has gone to poo...so I just sit here in my illusions and drink my coffee with the lights off ...listening to carols with my ear buds. Fantasizing that my alarms won't scream and I won't have to kill anyone for a few more decades. I know Im reaching...but it is the Holidays and all :)

Right! This morning it was that a principal declared no candy canes cause the I shape stands for Jesus. Go back to school and learn to hold your candy cane the right way lady. It's shaped like a cane...thus the name "candy cane"! Last I check they brought Jesus frankincense, gold, and Myrrh...not peppermint. So I too will hold my Christmas traditions near!
