I started on this journey

        

         Of my lifetime

 

Riding off into

 

         That one and only sunset

 

Where golden beams

 

         Highlight forever

 

Letting love’s guidance

 

         Be our treasure.

 

Now something has broken

Splitting the road

 

Here I am now walking along

This broken trail

That has me stepping towards

A personal hell

No turning back to burning bridges

Tragic and thought provoking. I love the words that you use to describe something that we all go through at one time or another in our lives. Hopefully, the broken trail will lead to a main highway where life will get back on track again.
