A Season Of New Beginnings

Inspire by someone talking bout how Autumn turning so quickly. I love this season. The picture was taken by me.

 

In the blink of an eye

Green turns to gold

Showering the Earth

With riches

Money can’t buy.

The landscape

Becomes a portrait

Even Ansel Adams

Couldn’t design.

Sun soaked skin

Finds natural relief

From natures cool breath

Like a burning soul

Finding its mate

Written in the stars.

It’s this change of season

That says starting over

Is okay after falling.

I love Autumn!!! You have captured it well with your poetry and photo. The alliteration of 'Sun soaked skin' catches the eye and ear as it makes one almost glad to see the hot summer give way to the cool breath of Fall.

The last 3 lines make this really shine as it reminds us that the seasons of life do change and indeed it is okay to start over after falling....actually not just okay but essential. Great job!
