The Shadow On My Shoulder
There is an angel who sits upon my shoulder who goes by the name of Death...
Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

Some more Halloween fun :)

"

Hocus pocus

Toil and trouble

You sly little witch

It’s plain to see

That you cast a spell on me.

Setting my soul a flame

Till I am down on my knees

Collecting the ashes

and arrange into

a perfect circle.

You did it without

Any black magic or potion

For within that cauldron

Was something more powerful.

With a pinch of enchanting beauty

With a mix of wicked charm,

Toss in a smidge of seductive charisma

And finish it off with a piece of golden heart.

Never has a curse

Been more alluring

Nor the darkside

More attractive

Till the day you made me

Your adoring warlock.

Very nice one here Cowboy! I loved the imagery inside.. The lightness that flowed straight off the paper.. This had a different feel than most of your others, kind of like your piece on the rain.. (LOVED THAT) Ooops.. LOL
This by far was a treasure and shows your multi talents in more ways than one.. Great job!

Women are ALL powerful. They still scare the !#$%!! out of me. I blame everything bad that has ever happened to me on that spell (back in 95'). Great little Halloween piece Dale ;)

I like the magical halloween feel to this piece. The imagery is done quite well. Beware for the mysterious woman can reek havoc on your soul.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nicely arranged!
You truly are good at this Dale...setting a scene is what I mean. This has a twist on the usual Halloween stuff in that it alludes to women in general. I wonder if the consensus of opinion dictates that all of us stir the cauldron to entice with magic potions?...I WISH!! Something a little different from you here Dale...
Enjoyed :)
