The Story of Kate: The Attack

The Story of Kate: The Attack

A Poem by dead poet 79
"

part 8

"

She woke up with hands
Around her neck.
Kate struggled to get free.
She managed to
Grab an object off the nightstand
And hit her attacker
Over the head.
The man fell to the floor
As Thomas ran into the room.
The attacker got up
And jumped out the window.
And ran off.
"Are you ok Kate?"
"Yea I think Im fine."
Thomas went over and shut the window.
He slept in a chair
In Kates room that night.
The next morning Ester called
For the Doc.
He came out that night to
Look at Kates injuries.
He had a bandage on his forehead.
"What happened doc?" Ester questioned.
"Oh, a patient was having a seizure and I fell"
He went into Kates room
Where Thomas was still sitting
In the chair.
Looked over Kates bruises
On her neck.
"Well doesnt seem to be
Any serious injuries.
The bruises should go away
In a few days."
Thomas noticed the bandage.
"Who do you think could
Have done this doc?" Thomas asked
"I dont know Thomas,
I dont know."
