Afermation

Afermation

A Poem by dead poet 79

The last call of existence
Is ringing in my ear.
Blood starts to seep
From my lobe.
The pain never seems to leave
When the one you love
Has left you alone.
Watching from afar
Trying to decide
What the out come may be.
Surely she will return
For another night of lust
Just one more night.
But, will that be enough?
Or, will it just leave me wanting more?
Cureous about what the
New life you have created
Has brought you.
Searching through the pictures
We had taking that one year at
Bonnaroo.
Memories never seem to fade.
Only the pictures.

Now I am here.
Waiting for another day.
Waiting for another you.
But, that day will never come.
That time will never
Rematerilize.
Will never come my way.

This coffee has made me drowsy.
Im driving down the road
Listening to "our song"
Do you even remember what
It is?
Or was it thrown in the waste
Just as I was?
You will come back one day.
Only to hurt me once more.
Until a time when I can not hurt anymore.
Then you will be happy.
Then you will succeed.
