The Madness Of A Mind, I have fallen victim to the same mental plague as
so many sufferers amongst me , only the positive an whole-hearted have succeeded
to break free, I'm talking about depression the cancer of our thoughts, 15%
happy 85% warped, prescription drugs sedate the mind where serotonin has
failed, it’s like with every breath taken more negativity is in-haled, a cloudy
head with polluted visions is no structure for our future, imagine a mobile
prison where we deliver our own torture, many won’t understand until they fall victim to this disease, lonely days full of
sadness long nights with no sleep, family laugh it off whilst many friends come
an go, depression is a progressive disease that rots the soul, it feeds from
the inner sadness it takes pleasure from the pain, millions of lives have been
taken whilst only the strong remain, we must continue to ride the the waves
never sink just swim, head for the shores of tranquillity pull out that
strength from within, there is very few highs but sadly many lows, surround
yourself with positivity an watch the negativity go, a fake smile is easy to
wear but even harder to disguise, those that don't understand will never see
the world through our eyes. Daily We get ridiculed for the person we have
become, no more invitations to socialise as your deemed no fun, if they only
knew the energy it takes to step out of that front door, riddled with anxiety
with no permanent cure. This is just an insight into 1 of a million sufferer’s
minds, countless doctor’s appointments just to be told go home an unwind, just
take each day as it arrives never slip don't crumble, be yourself in an
ever-changing world just go forth but stay humble. © 2015 Dean T |
