When I grow up!

When I grow up!

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa

When I grow up I want to be...

I want to be free, free to be me.

As a little girl, I spin and twirl...

Round and round and round, I whirl

I love to sing and I love to dance,

I dream, yes, I dream of romance.

One day my prince will come along,

Together we shall sing life's  lovely song.

When I grow up I want to be...

The lucky princess, only he can see.
