Phoenix Rising!

Phoenix Rising!

A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

Spiritual reawakening.

"
Out of the ashes, the Phoenix has risen!
The mighty eagle soars above clouds of despair.
Vultures appear to spread hatred and fear
Upon stolen lands.
Sacred burial grounds unearthed, desecrated soil.
Graves of our ancestors destroyed...
All lost tribes of Mother Earth reunited!
Grandfather's voice has been heard by all the nation's.
A lone warrior waiting, a single feather in his hand and a prayer.
We are all related! We are one! Oil is death! Water is life!

The messages you convey through your writings are really strong and all the people here should learn something from them. This is another potent, positive poem. Thanks for sharing!

Your words really do weep from the screen! So much happens over time, so many changes, so much dilution of a place in history but truly knowing that you have a right to be there scattered throughout time after time. What's been is so quickly overlooked these day, even today is rushed through in case something's missed, something so insignificant the sun and moon fail to matter any more.

Your poem is - for me.. a rally cry, urging people to come together, to protect land and its inhabitants before it all disappears.

Superb.
