A Poem by Deborah Leah Krempa
"

(lost my son 4/15/07 due to a drunk driver)

"

d ear bobby, i miss you so much since you've been gone

e ntertaining the angels with your life's song

a  sad day came to my heart

r ecalling the day you had to depart

b obby, you were such a good boy and grew to be a fine young man

o h, how i wish you could have stayed and grown old

b obby, the world is a lonlier place without you in it

b obby, i promise i'll keep your spirit alive every minute

y es i love you too

i  will find a way to share you with the world for their loss is greater than

m ine.  You were a wonderful teller of stories and a fine teacher you

i dealy would have become...

s omeone somewhere will read my words and come to know you

s omewhere out there your spirit will live on through my writing of poetry

y ou are my only son, not even death can take you from me

o h, honey i miss you and i am so

u tterly blue...

Oh this makes me cry :-( but it is so hopeful as well and I can't help but smile to know that your son's memory lives on through your poem that passed through me. Very emotional, my favorite line (because of its selflessness):

"i will find a way to share you with the world for their loss is greater than

m ine"

Such losses struck you hard, make you choke but the challenge is to fight, challenge is to keep loving, challenge is to keep the spirit alive..... and you are doing it !!!

Great work.

Well worded. Thank you for sharing and remember to think what he would want for you now. Would he want you to be so sad? Missed, always. You suffered a loss many can not comprehend, and one a parent will never recover from. Keep sharing the memories!
