Lost with in myself

looking for the soul inside me and not being able to see me..

 

 

I went down to the river

to try and find my soul to deliver.

I lost it one day four years ago

it seems someone stole my soul.

 

Tears were falling down my face

God had forgotten my grace.

Why I screamed to the sky

did you take my son up way to high?

 

My soulless body wracked in pain

my messed up mind going Insane.

I had come to find my empty soul

but all I found was an Icy cold.

 

I got up and thought maybe tomorrow

I will be out of all my sorrow.

I lay down but said no prayers

only asked someone to care.

I think I did a very good job of writing of my soul being lost and cold outside my body somewhere when my son was being buried.
