What is Love?

As you come into being, you realize the true essence of love.

One might ask the question, what is love?

You cannot touch it, although it is has a solid form…

It cannot be seen, it breaths within and all around you…

Not explosive like fireworks, rather soft and surprising.

 

When you look around and it can be witnessed everywhere…

A husband who waits and walks out to greet his wife…

That long awaited hug from someone who hadn’t seen in awhile…

Or that momentary look of gratitude, when a warm smile welcomes you.

 

Without thought it easily forgives…

Our imperfections are spotted, however embraced…

It has great understanding with just a glimpse…

Flowing freely it can right any wrongs.

 

No notifications, it has a way of sneaking up on you…

A gentle and kind manner on how evokes on you…

Sinking deep within us is where it can be created…

The knowledge of bringing it into being.

 

Forever timeless and never changing…

It is calm and self assured in its presence…

Asking us to sit in silence, to recognize its strength…

Boundlessly, tapping into its power.
