Natural BeautyA Poem by Daniela Anna The gifts of Universe As I stand and gaze out, a gentleness and peace dwells within me… What I am seeing? You, the artist have your paint brush in motion… Slowly, onto the canvas the image emerges… I look up and onward, before my eyes I catch sight of… Mysteriously appearing and forming into a stunning Monarch butterfly… In my delight, you are suspended above my head… My heart magnifies with love for you… Ah, escapes my lips, mesmerized by your beauty. There is more to see as I walk towards you… Your strength visible and I take comfort in it… I lean against your body; you are tall and rooted into the earth… Your crisp green leaves shade me as your limbs stretch upward… It is as if you can touch the stars that come into view… Like diamonds, sparkling against the night sky.
Morning has come as I wipe the sleep from my eyes… Clouds are forming like feathers… Blue, green and gold colors… A beautiful peacock appears for my eyes only to behold… You are exquisite in every sense… I am moved by your magnificence… A silent whisper escapes my lips, “I love you!” The quiet wind and crashing sounds I am drawn to… I walk along; I feel the silkiness of the sand beneath my feet as I reach you… I stop before you, focused as the tide goes in and out… I sit and let you wash over me… Your soothing voice screams let your sorrows go….
