Terrible Tango

Terrible Tango

A Poem by Deekay mavhunga
"

Varsity life to me resembles a terrible tango. Where you either adapt or get trampled on

"
Centred in perplexity and continous motion.
Victimised by change and obliviously losing caution.
Engaged in this terrible tango.
Where  you either adapt or get trampled on.

Resilience  has become a myth indeed,
blatantly  impossible it is to strive with a new breed,
Conspiciously tripping to the beat of the tango,
Where you either adapt or get trampled on.

Where adapting sometimes means sinning.
And you lose more every time you begin winning.
Where playing by the rules  guarantees defeat.
And those witty are more vulnerable to deceit.

Vile as the tango  may appear,
I menuvour through the odds till my destination  becomes  clear,
Engaged in this terrible tango.
Where  you either adapt or get trampled on.
