Peace

My personal poem of peace- inner peace.

I understand now,

What it feels like to be at peace,

With myself.

There is a sense of calm that’s settled in me;

A sort of tranquil that has settled deep within me.

 

But this peace came at a cost;

A cost that I never understood the value of for so long,

But long enough to realize that something in me was amiss.

The secret of how, what, when and where of this attainment of inner peace

Shall remain with me

For all of eternity.
