Just crap floating around in my head

  I never claimed to be a player
   Don't think I'd tell that tale
 I'm not some kind of lady killer
      I'm just very very male

     Do I have a feminine side
    Maybe a little bit I suppose
      I don't really give a s**t
      As far as that crap goes

 Sure I've got respect for women
 But I treat them like they're toys
 In the real world that's not so bad
    It's the idea of it that annoys

 Though monogamy I have tried
    and it blew up in my face
Losing the love of my former life
   was a humiliating disgrace

  And yes I have respect for gays
For taking s**t and standing ground
   You gotta have some cajones
When the world is pushing you down

A woman president would be okay
  If she were able and qualified
A gay president would fine by me
but he would probably have to lie

   We all have our own agendas
   For what is right and wrong
   But we think in one direction
    When mob mind rolls along

 Sing that song and raise that flag
  Liberal democracy all the way
  But standing in that ballot box
 Could you vote for chick or gay

   And if you just couldn't do it
Are you a chick hating homophobe
  Maybe you reached your limit
 and it's melting your frontal lobe

   Maybe you just don't give a s**t
  What all those voices have to say
So you're screaming shut the f**k up
       at the end of every day

So you drowned yourself in alcohol
 and read this poem slow or quick
   Then silently say to yourself
 That Ricochet's a f*****g prick

That's what I like about you Baby, you pull no punches, this is who I am, take it or leave it....there's still a sensitive person inside of you that I know. Being you were as affected by losing the love of your life as war, that says a lot to me....

Honestly i agree with everything you've said your poem is presented even without intention to be increadbly meaingful ... i feel that anyone with t he right mind regardless of sex, or orientation should make it and these prejudices are there, but we focus to much on them. I am a highly successful female with a younger brother who is going through a sex change, i have not hidden this information and i think its my" i dont care what boundarys you unfairly place in my way i will succeed because i have the ablity" and i think if everyone started thinking like that instead of thinking oh there is all this resistance and oh i can't do this because there are people agasint me, then alot of these stigmatism would have no choice but to be removed. But people are so afraid of actually just getting on with it , that htey self imbed these theorys of our limits.

I think this piece was brilliant, very thought provoking. And no your not a prick at all.

sometimes i think we have to present that "i don't give a damn what people think about me" side.

because we have to be us...no masks, just the real thing...and we can take it or leave it.

i like the tone/ attitude of this...

you are one of the few poets i feel can really pull off a poem like this...and make it quite readable.
