When Poetry Sucks

NO SENSE OF HUMOR WARNING LABEL: Likely to offend those who can't take a joke. Sorry (No I'm not)

         We who wax and wane and rhyme
           Maybe it's all a waste of time
         and all we do is b***h and whine
         in poetic verse and rhyming line

         Here's one from some lonely lass
     Who's boyfriend left for greener grass
       So he could bone some skanky a*s
         Left lonely lass a real outcast

    Then there's the mysterious metaphors
     That no one knows the meanings for
     That reading's such a goddamn chore
     I'm confused annoyed and kinda bored

          Is that English that he's writing
        or it's his keyboard that he's biting
          Maybe he got struck by lightning
         and it's a seizure that he's fighting

         Painful yearning for love unknown
         Broken hearts and hearts of stone
           Some a*****e left her all alone
       Some s****y chick he wants to bone

           Free verse that goes on and on
           Jesus Christ it's five miles long
        Don't you know it's just plain wrong
          To torture readers for that long

         Writers that are to cool and slick
         The WC game is beneath their Bic
         They won't review a line or limerick
         You know what they can suck my dick

           And all the crazy teenaged drama
         Working out their childhood trauma
         Fucked up daddies fucked up mamas
           Leaving kids with their bad karma

             Bad Erotica all over the place
            Suicide notes leather and lace
             Personal failures and disgrace
             Ricochet's finger in your face

           I wrote this poem for some yucks
          Cause I don't really give two f***s
         and maybe we're all s**t out of luck
    But that's what happens when poetry sucks

I may be guilty of crying through some of the words I rhyme,
but they aren't for all they're for me at another time.
Reviews I don't pay much attention to
I don't care if I get a single one or two,
just my way of demons being worked through.
