As Allah Dies Inside (For the Syrian people)

As Allah Dies Inside (For the Syrian people)

A Poem by Baby Ricochet

A Peace long denied
Turns into genocide
As Allah dies inside
When his children
   have to die

Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it.
How sad. I like your kind of poetry. It makes us look at things we may have been more likely to turn a blind eye to. Wonderful piece! :)

How shocking, raw and poignant, a very well constructed piece.

Thank you Thomas
Omg...No matter your decided faith, this is gripping. Whenever a child dies in the name of peace sought for a god, how can we truly consider the cause worthy? We have corrupted a righteous thing and made our maker weep.

Concise, but very Precise... no horrible tragedy greater than taking a human life, under what name.. it surely leaves no room for words, only room for tears... and some more tears..

Thank you for your humane kindness in this petite poem

Thank you B
I have been writing for four years. No greater sin than when brother is killing brother. We had our civil war in the USA in 1861-1865. Some places the wounds have not healed. Today in the Middle East. Brother killing brother. Children and women are dying. I believe Allah is not content. A powerful poem for today world. Thank you for the excellent poetry.

Your brief, quick thoughts always unfold into truths much too dark to ever be portrayed nearly as precise on paper . . . and your additional picture adds to the reality of catastrophe that you so truthfully present. Well done, the word needs to be spread of the actual horrors that Syrians go through.

Thank you Tai.
Ever read the book of Jeremiah? Gives some insight I think. The wars in that part of the world have been going on longer than mankind has been writing about them.

I've not read the book of Jeremiah but i do know then as now the violence continues
Brief but emotive, certainly should touch your reviewers. Tis heartbreaking. and made clearer by the more than graphic pic. You've said more than many who shrug and say, 'So what, it's not my problem'. There was a recent tv prog about the thousands and thousands of Syrian children killed, maimed, orphaned- was terrible to see those little ones. Thank you for caring.

Yes it is. Getting them out of your head is impossible.
