Once upon a time

once upon a time tells the story of a man who being lost in the midst of cold questioned his life.

Once upon a time I had this long starry look into the night,

lost in the mood , absorbed by the moon .

That night , in the midst of cold,

I wondered if life had a meaning at all.

 

Those lights of cities that were shining upon me,

made me somewhat delusional that this is what ought to be.

That this is what is and ever will be a man’s dream.

But yet I thought, in this universe we are just another speck of dust in a beam

 

That heart had been broken many times.

That heart had been healed by love and wine.

And all the glory I was seeking into those lights, to heal my scars,

were not of the cities but of the stars.
