Not Naught

Not Naught

A Poem by dementedreality

Know me not
Hear me not
Guess as to what I am
I am free as I am chained
Yet you know me so well
As I lie unexpressed
Take a guess
Who am I?
Where do I lie?
Shall you be fooled?
I am jeweled
Esteemed to be what I am naught
Dangers of distrust ever is it fraught
Be not with me
For I am not I
It is the shadow that I cast
That you see as I pass
Be not with me for I am not free
Ever burdened
Ever damned
Without you to see
What shall I be?

Are you familiar with the null hypothesis?

I'm probably just projecting that onto this but that's where reading it took me.
