Unseen Spaces

Unseen Spaces

A Poem by dementedreality

Have you ever danced with death? Played with it's gnawing edges?
Felt it's tension crawling up your spine? Well I have.

I dance with it every day. Chaos, madness, and insanity always at the periphery.
Every dance needs an audience after all. And so I embrace it.

I am the space for death of identities. So I stay unseen.
Dancing at the edge of awareness. Where the twilight meets the sun.

It gets lonely being unseen. But if the ocean moves the fish it robs it of it's ability to swim.
So I hide away in the darkness. Holding the space for the light.
