empty canvas I & II

empty canvas I & II

A Poem by Mindona Kanvas

[Part I]

You're making lines on my empty canvas...
jagged lines that give away
your insecurities
and I don't mind
which direction you go in
as long as we meet
at the same point in the end.

[Part II]

I've placed an empty canvas
on the wall,
hanging in solitude..
the silence it brings
is so loud.

She steps.
Observes.
Caresses the stretched fabric
and breathes-
she breathes
her vision.

With eyes closed,
inhale.
exhale.

I escape her soul,
dressed in smoke
moving through the air
and find my resting place
with soft pastels
and wordless expressions
on an empty canvas.

About
I don't really care for [about me] sections. they make me feel forced to downsize my personality and pick the things that I feel are most important about myself so that a stranger can get a brief read.. more..
