Silver Wind

Silver Wind

A Poem by Brandon Strickland Erickson
"

Just something that has been running through my head for a while.

"
A silver wind moved through the trees
and all the forest cried.

For in the wind were lover's dreams;
the lover's dreams that died.

Just like the lovers that mourn their loss,
so too does the azure sky.

All of nature laments the day
that dreams go wilt and die.

I appreciate any input anyone may have. I am not very good at punctuation so and help with that is certainly welcome!
