Into this world

Place one foot

In front of the other

Seems simple enough

Gingerly I walk forward

Seeing the world with

           Fresh eyes

I’m in a field…

With many leaves

And red fruit close

To the ground

                                How,                QUEER

                THE SEEDS ARE ON TOP?

Do I dare touch it?

                I have many life lessons

To learn

I    r  e   a    c     h    out  and grab it

Bite into it…

I’m not harmed…

It was well worth the risk

                I continue to walk

One foot in front of the other…

One foot in front of the other

                Gently now

We cannot rush such things

           Something on four legs?

                I pause to look

Only to see it’s gone

                                What a strange place this is…

                           This world is quite silly
