Some one to look up to

It's not actually a story , it's more like an article ...it concerns the teaching process in my country ,Palestine

Over the history, the teaching and learning role was essential in every nation development , because every thing is about learning , we learn morals , manners , love , hate ..etc at life , academic subjects and other at school , and this have always happened by the process of transferring knowledge from teachers to students , but the differences are the teacher's methods , and of course the relationship between both sides that changes the whole teaching process .

should the relationship between students and teachers be really close ? 

that's is a contradictory multi- opinion idea , some teachers think that they must limit this relationship in order to have respect from students , they think that the teaching process can't be fully accomplished in a close relationship , because things will be taken personally .

but not all teachers think this way, others follow the opposite method, they believe that getting closer to students and becoming their new friend makes teaching easier and much more acceptable. 

frankly, many teachers nowadays try to do that , but even though they choose this path if a student crosses the line a little bit or even ask about their personal out of school life , teachers suddenly change and begin to remind students of the degrees that apart them  , and that is confusing and disturbing because it proves that everything is a lie , and trying to be friends is just a project , beside confirming the stratus in such relations , which will eventually lead to a not creative atmosphere .

it's true that teachers have their position,but it doesn't mean that they are control of students' opinions and feelings , what they must do to show them how to behave in such relationships not order them. 

basically , the teaching process can be a lot improved if teachers stop considering themselves as givers of knowledge only not givers and discussers , they also need to know that knowledge isn't about having information without having a way of taking information and dealing with it . 

personally , i believe of having a teacher as a role model or idol is far more important ,because having knowledge and using it in the real world requires faith in the ability of doing that , it requires belief ,which can be all done through creating a strong relationship between teachers and students based on love and respect , the motivating relationship that drives you right towards success !

A lot of studies regarding teachers teaching procedure from the conservative to the liberals, but I think teachers should maintain as the authoritative figure in order to maintain the balance. All of those elements has been teaches in the classroom; from morality, academics and even religion. An effective teacher is Open, liberals and supportive but should be good in in discipline.
