Perfect

Perfect

A Poem by Diana Dirvariu
"

I have struggled with depression for years, and still do. Wrote this a few months back.

"
with blonde waves and eyes of water
with the smile of love and grace
with the poise of one forgotten
with a strict and harsh embrace

with deep hate
with shards
with crimson
with remembrance
without reason
with a blade
a knife
a stick
with the sharp side dragged down quick

as the tears stream down in patterns
as her lipstick runs staight down
as she learns to fake what matters
as she hides her wrinkled frown

as a sister
as daughter
as a friend
she screams just louder

but for only her to hear
in her head without the fear
