Emotional Rescue

Emotional Rescue

A Poem by The Analog Kid
"

I was listening to the Stones. Having fun with lyrics again. Always loved this song because of the sax throughout:)

"

I was dreaming last

night

that you could be mine

as a sax played just right

a poor girl

in a rich man's house

like a child

and it felt so right

into the night

I'll come to your emotional rescue

There is something to be said about a true poet, which you have more than proven yourself to be. The formatting gives it the sensual feel mirrored in the words. Like the rich layers of a sax played with passion, the tone of this piece flows over me and makes me want more.
