Hell Is For Children

Hell Is For Children

A Poem by The Analog Kid
"

I started out trying to follow a strict form but then decided to deviate a bit. When I found the YouTube song I wanted to put with it after I finished, I decided it should be the title.

"

When your world is running down

and there's no way to make

the best of what's around

you're straining at invisible chains

and it's not your life to take

the worst strife your soul's found

gutter you're in seems so deep

body and soul unceremoniously raped

sometimes by destiny we are bound

to explode 'cause scars won't heal

because not like everyone else

these cuts aren't straight

and these thoughts

of guilt will never be unwound

the one that was supposed to protect

his most delicate flower

instead was the one to infect

and now it's her darkest hour

Abused Child - I Hurt Too Much Pictures, Images and Photos

I had a casual acquaintance on WC that was a young girl. She sent me a friend request and I could see she was troubled and now I see that her brother's site says she committed suicide. According to them, her father sexually abused her...Very sad.

You have touched on a subject, and I may know of whom you speak, that not only brings tears to my eyes, but a rage inside that makes me want be put in a room with the perpetrator of this crime to cause him pain beyond his imagination. but then that would bring me to a level that already has a designated deliverer. Thanks for sharing Pat ! :(

You did an excellent job with this. There are so many children out there male and female who live with the scars of sexual abuse by the hands of the ones who are supposed to protect them. Many of them don't survive and end up like this young woman you spoke of. It is a terrible tragedy.

Firstly, your work is put together in a delicate, beautiful manner that stands as a blessed dedication to the little one. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

Secondly, how do i control the anger running through me? No need for an answer because whilst this kind of happening goes on behind doors all around the world, there must be justified abhorence and rage. If there's ever, ever any doubt about a child nearby, keep alert, listen, look .. don't assume but don't be scared of being vigilant either .. better you be wrong than another innocent end up as this little girl did.

How desperately sad.

Powerful and deep! I am also sorry to hear of such a tragedy!
Sometimes, I weary of this world...you approached this with eyes wide open and an honest heart, excellent piece!
