![]() Review Of My First Compact TractorA Story by Digital Ram![]() Review Of My First Compact Tractor![]() I
recently bought a compact farming tractor to cultivate and maintain my personal
farm. I couldn’t ask for anything better than this versatile machine which has
made my life easier & my hobby farming more cherishable. It was after I had
used my first tractor from a known compact tractor
company I bought
Solis. This is my review of the professional farming machine that is Solis S20 compact farming tractor. Here’s
my review of the professional offered by this compact tractor company. The
Engine Solis
S20 comes with a powerful 20 HP, 3-Cylinder Mitsubishi engine with an
impressive towing capacity of 1600 kg. Along with this, it also comes with the
option for a front-end-loader with a lifting capacity of 500 kg. Above all, it
is among the quietest tractors I have ever driven in my life. I have been using
this compact tractor for a year now, and still, I have never experienced any
loss in their power. Also, there have been times I have borrowed professional
farm implements to use them on my farm and the tractor performed as swiftly as
a professional one. The
Hitch Hitch
on a tractor is very crucial for its utility. CAT-1 type hitch is used on the
tractor which is a standard in the industry for compact farm tractors. This
hitch allows for the attachment of a variety of farming implements such as
rotavator, thrashers, cultivators etc. Also, the single pinch removal mechanism
is among what I cherish. I have able to easily cultivate my farm & use any
implements I need easily. I would recommend all those looking for a compact utility tractor
to only buy the tractors that come with CAT-1 type hitch as CAT-0 won’t be at
all helpful on a farm. Tires
& Other Accessories Tires
are another thing to check if the land of your farm is uneven or is located in
a hilly region. The agricultural tires fitted on this tractor are designed to
provide greater traction & optimum power supply on all terrains. The
compact tractor company also offers other variety of tires to choose from
depending upon the user’s requirements & the terrain. Other than that, this
compact utility tractor is fitted with a roll-over protection bar, making it
secure for the user. This feature is something I personally think is essential
as I have heard about many accidents that occurred due to tractors rolling-over.
Most compact tractor companies do not offer ROPS, whereas with SOLIS the option
was available in all compact tractor variants. I personally kept the original
agricultural tires that came on it as my farm is in a plain & easily
traversable land. For
those looking for something, a little more power can go for the more powerful
brother of S20, Solis S26. As the name suggests, Solis S26 compact tractors come
with a 26 HP engine which offers better speed & manoeuvrability. Also, it
comes with fluid brakes that are better than the drum brakes of S20, but I
believe new
compact tractors work very efficiently with drum brake. Other than
that, S26 offers improved lifting capacity than that of S20. Personally,
when I took the two compact tractors for a spin before I chose S20, I did
notice the improvement in performance. But the optimum performance of S20 was
perfect in the matters of power, fuel efficiency, and ability to attach
implements & so on. However, S26 can be more joyful to ride due to its
added power among the two compact
tractors. © 2019 Digital RamAuthor's Note
