The Color Earth

The Color Earth

A Poem by The Cracken

This world is a wonder, so vibrant and full of color. Everything shimmers and glows bright enough to make oneself shudder.

From the sky, to the ground, even within the oceans that surround,

Mother nature gives off an iridescent pigmentation that couldn't even be compaired to sound.

The color that comes with life truly is a beatuful sight, it radiates through everything living, making the forces pushing us forward as a civilization burn bright.

Many take for granted the sight they use dailey.

But not I.

I look at my surroundings, eyes wide, heart pounding,

pondering everything within my line of sight, I make sure to watch everything around me.

Not to feel secure, and not to feel safe, but to enjoy what god has freely given me, I watch everyone and everything day to day.

So with eyes wide open and my mouth shut tight, I write to those of you like me who enjoy the simplicity of sight.
